I just traded my 2012 RK in today for a Electric Glide Ultra Limited today. I wasn't planning on doing it but when I got to the dealer today, I was just looking to get a new jacket for X-Mass. While the wife was shopping I started checking out the 2013 bikes.
The sales man said hey if you would like, we can go for a test ride. I should'nt have done it, because now I am bringing my RK in tomorrow for a trade in. I have to say that bike rides great, and I didn't think that I would like the radio, and the fairing and all that other stuff, but I was wrong.
I was only wearing a sweat shirt, here in Louisville KY, temps where in the high 50's and with the fairing I was comfortable. Anyway I thought it handle great, it's not a RK, but being in my 50's now, I think that I like a little more comfort, and the wife enjoyed the back seat.
What are seen to be the major differences in these bikes.
I am looking at buying one soon and would like some feedback.
Are you talking about the differences in the EG models? If so, the EG Standard is the entry level model. No lower fairings or speakers on tour pak. Sort of a stripped down bike, but still a full bagger and a nice ride! Step up to the EG Ultra Classic and get the lower fairings and rear speakers, standard cruise control and a few other goodies. Get the Limited model and you get a laundry list of standard equipment. Heated grips, ABS, aluminum face gauges with chrome trim, tour pack rack and extra 12v power port in trunk and a security system to name a few.
Go to a dealer and just do a walk around the different models. A salesman can point out all the differences. Take them for a ride. You'll take one home!
The last year for the Electra Glide Standard was 2009. It had a fairing with no radio (however, it was optional) and it did not have a tour-pak.
Entry level Electra Glide is the Electra Glide Classic. Of course it has a fairing w/stereo, but with only front speakers and a tour pak, along with saddlebag rails and front bumper. Cruise control is optional, as well as ABS and security.
Electra Glide Ultra Classic is the next step up. In addition to the items on the Classic, it has rear speakers, a C.B. radio, intercom for rider/passenger communication, cruise control (standard), lower fairings. ABS and Security are optional. Also, the Ultra has tail lights on the tour-pak and the tour-pak is lined.
Electra Glide Ultra Classic "Limited" has chrome wheels, a different paint scheme; ABS, security and cruise control are all standard equipment. Tour-pak has a luggage rack on it, aluminum faced gauges, heated grips. It does not have a front bumper nor saddlebag guard rails.
I'm sure there are some minor differences that I missed among the 3, but these are the major differences.

Good luck!
I was the exact same way man but only difference was I got a black 2012 ultra limited and traded in my 07 road king. Ultra limited is purely big awesomeness!
I have a '13 Ultra. I have only had it a few weeks and only have 300 miles on it. It snowed here last weekend. In the few miles I have on it I LOVE IT. The 103 has nice power, it ride like a Caddy, the brakes are nice and it still handles good. In will need to change a few things, a shorter shied, mirror extentions, maybe a little shorter set but I have no problems putting my feet down. I'm going to let the seat break in first. I'm only 5'8".
I just traded up from an '07 Softail to a '13 Ultra Limited and I'll tell you one thing, the bike is awesome. I have never ridden such a fine piece of machinery in the 44 years of riding.
