Well, Some of Us are Bikers And some are Posers. The Posers leave Thier Bikes at Home when the weather is not perfect. PS: I bet Your Cage cost 20K or more, Do You drive when there is salt on the roads?
Well actually I have a winter beater cage that I use during the winter months here. I won't drive my mint 2008 Harley Davidson F-150 Crew Cab during the winter months also. Both of my Black Harley beauties are parked during the winter months. I just worked way too hard to obtain both & refuse to let salt trash either one. I guess that makes me a poser? LOL........
If you ever ride to Alaska you will see what the roads do to a bike. Now we do not get much snow here but when I go to Florida I get MUCH salt on mine from the ocean! I plane on deliberately riding and camping in the snow. Why because I want to just for my satisfaction. We got 3 feet here once. Will be camping in North Georgia next month good chance we will hit some snow. I lived in Pittsburgh for 14 years. Any other questions?

3 feet of snow in Macon,Ga.God, that must have shut the city down for over a week.
I worked for Lockheed in Marietta,Ga. back in the late 80s.We had 5" of snow late January 1986.It shut the town down for 2 days.

I remember that! My first month in Marietta. The only place I've lived where they closed the schools on the FORECAST of snow.

I drove to work that day and didn't have any trouble, there where cars in the ditches everywhere and the other person that showed up to work in my dept. was my manager. Since it was my 1st year there, I didn't know you where supposed to stay home when there was snow on the roads.
Is this really a "if you don't ride as much as me you suck" thread? I thought we were past that here. I don't mind getting caught in the rain but rarely start off in a downpour. I don't think I would ever be brave enough to ride in the snow.
