I am thinking about going with a true dual system on my 2012 Road King. Either MGS or Freedom Performance. First, will I have any warranty issues doing this. I have seen a lot of positive reviews on the MGS system, but does anyone have any experience with Freedom Performance system? Thanks in advance.
No warranty issues. I don't have any experience with those brands because I went with a V&H set. You will be so glad you put duals on. The sound is great! BTW - nice bike
Switched my 09 FLHX to TD's (Bub-7/3.5") within 1st year of ownership and never looked back. I'm possibly going to swap for MGS 4" exhaust, but waiting to see if we get kicked off the "fiscal cliff." Any dealership that tries to tell you this swap voids OEM warranty is probably wanting to sell you their products...
Good rule of thumb, unless there's distinct "evidence" indicating an upgrade caused failure (rare) - warranty isn't voided. Exhaust swap's pretty straight-forward, but I'd recommend you get the bike adjusted for this "free-flowing" exhaust, when done.

Wait for it now.....for sure someone's going to post the obligatory 'true duals lose power' reply - never fails.
I'll bite. Only from reading, not from any real world experience. True duals will reduce torque at low rpms. This loss of torque would also be reliant on the cam in the engine. So, you are correct, it never fails. I have true duals and love the sound, but as the bike is strictly for long days touring, I do wish it was quieter.
I am going to pull the trigger on some duals soon also. Lots of great feedback here on this forum for MGS True Duals. Personally, I love the looks of the Vance & Hines Dresser Duals. I already have Rhinehart 4" slip-ons.

I agree. I don't get it either. If you are upgrading to a Stage 1 with a True Dual exhaust from a stock setup, you are gaining performance in both torque and horsepower. Granted, a good 2-1 or a 2-1-2 setup can gain additional performance in most cases, but I don't believe you are "losing" any performance at all with duals vs stock. Plus they look AND sound way cool!!
