Default Black or Chrome Daymakers?

Getting ready to order the Daymakers. (2012 UC CVO) as I understand it, there are black or chrome versions available. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Are they the same brightness level? I would assume so. I'm thinking the black would look nice with my Sapphire Blue, smoked turn signal lights and smoked rack LED's.

Default Another Question

OK, here's another question. I notice the HD Daymaker headlight references the need for an adapter cable for FLHTCUSE models 2006 thru 2010. Is there no adapter cable needed for 2011 thru 2013 CVO's. Thanks

The only difference between black and chrome is color of the trim.

Here is what the black one looks like on my 12 Street Glide. Still has the chrome trim ring but inside the housing, behind the lens is black. I think it looks pretty good.

I went with black to offset My Silver Sportster, and they were plug and play, my headlight was a 3 prong plug which it plugged right into.

Black would be my choice, saw some chrome on some bikes today and did not like them.

I agree, I'm leaning towards the black and use my chrome trim ring. Anyone have a picture of the black DM's on a lighter color front end?
