Yaffee builds bike, and goes to shows all the time, and right now everyone is going nuts with preparations for the Easy Rider Show, on top of that right now most of the country has their bike in storage so people are buying more crap than usual while their bikes are "down for winter". These are things that should be taken into consideration when ordering. Furthermore, why the hell would anyone take their bike apart for a handlebar swap without having ALL of the parts first? If your bike was in pieces because of an inner fairing deal, then it's not Yaffe's fault, lol. The guy himself does not personally chrome handlebars, he has suppliers who do and things happen and not everyone is perfect.
You bought from Frank, and Frank should have sent you a new set of bars with a pre paid shipping label to return the ones you have and dealt with sorting things out on his end. Your blame is not being placed in the right place, and you shouldn't have had your bike taken apart for a swap of anything before all the parts were in, plain and simple. That's a gamble you took, and it did NOT pay off.
DHP should have made this right already and NOT put the blame on Yaffee.
Paul is very down to earth and most of the times I have called he himself has answered.
Calm down, admit you should NOT have had your bike apart until all the part were in, and put your foot up DHP's *** to make the sale right instead of leaving Yaffee out to dry.
I was going to have all the parts provided the bars weren't damaged. There's a nick in the top angle where everyone will be looking and a piece of flag or something dropped in the chrome a discolored a small circle. Never should've left yaffe shop IMHO unless at a discounted rate. And if it was shame in direct harley for sending me ****
I ordered Paul's afterburner fork sliders, afterburner yaxel, afterburner ignition cover, and engine guard eliminator - all direct from Yaffe. Think it was in November... It took a few weeks and all arrived in flawless condition. I could not be happier - so mark me down as a fan.
That said - I ordered BR Custom Bars based upon some of the feedback relative to how difficult it is to wire the Yaffe MB's. They took 8 weeks to have built (but let you know that up front). They are 1 1/2 inch bars and were much easier to wire (per my installer) than Yaffe's.
