You will notice the e-bay ad says: "Switch Housing COVER" NOT "Switch HOUSING"
So is it a cheap COVER for your switch housing, or is it a SWITCH HOUSING?????????
I went with HD originals for both my Super Glide Custom, and my Street Glide. They appear to be quite well made, and the chrome is flawless.
As someone said above, you have a $20,000.00 motorcycle. Is it worth buying junk to put on your bike?
As an aside, I have the Kuryakin High Five Mach II Air Cleaner on both my bikes, and the Throttle Servo Motor Cover. Both are well made, came with detailed instructions, and I love them.
i don't know, i guess for me, i just spend the damn money and go with the factory stuff when it comes to something like that. Way i figure, it's a 20,000 dollar bike, i'll just buy what i know is gonna be right. Especially when it comes to something like that. Switches and housings are an incredible pain in the *** to install. It would really seriously suck to find out they don't fit just right, or that they're **** and need to be replaced after not too much time or whatever. If you're going to chrome stuff, you're doing it for appearance sake... you'll very often find with these kinda things that you get what you pay for.
Damn right! I ain't putting any plastic "billet" ebay crap on my High Dollar motorcycle.
I'm pretty sure most of the "cheap" stuff on eBay is actually COVERS, not housings (as someone else mentioned). No way would I want covers. I bought the HD housings at a 25% off sale, well worth it. I agree with those that have the opinion that if you sink $20+K on your bike, don't get too cheap with what you put on it.
