I just ordered the Cruise Buddy based on what I saw here and on the manufacturer's website. () J&P Cycles has its own brand for about 20 bucks less, but you have to drill and tap during the install. The reviewers said the install is easy, but the Cruise Buddy install looks a lot easier with no drill and tap...one less thing to screw up.

I've installed "Vista Cruise" on most of my Harleys.

Its easy to install, easy to engage and easy to override.
I just dont feel comfortable using the oem throttle lock as a cruise device,
but that's just me
