Knocks/Taps during startup 2013 limited (2000 miles)

My 07 Ultra had a similiar noise at start up for over 50k miles... and the dealer had said it was normal on it but I figured they would have corrected it in the 103....
Bike runs great, no noise other than the first few seconds (not even 2 seconds is it heard)... Just sounds from the posts I am reading, it is typical but as an old car mechanic, that intitial sound is never good...

just noise and that valve won't open as far for a second or two, or 3.

Just adding to what some others have said. My '09 Street Glide rattles a bit right after the first start of the day, but stops in about 15-30seconds depending on the temperature. I run Red Line 20W60 in my '00 Fatboy and it never rattles at all.
