Steve, Thanks for that info, will let everyone know if this is the culprit to my problems with the brake lights, headlights, passing lights, fuel gauge, and the neutral light that made me notice all this.

Well, up and running again, funny how a relay could make dash lights, gas gauge, brake and headlights not work. Thanks to the help from all here, and Mugsy in the St Pete Beach area for figuring things out. HD Forum community is good for support

Glad it work-out for you.
For those with service book.
Consider taking to kinko's or whatever so they can cut the bond part and then they hole punch the service book and place in a three ring binder.
Much easier to work with when working in the garage, copy a page or If you need to buy a part.

Now that is a very cool idea and the way (almost) it should come from Harley. Actually I think it should come with a spring style binder.

kel03, glad to hear all came out well. enjoy the rest of you vacation. i had my service manual for my softail drilled for a binder. mainly becauce the spine was going to hell. just haven't had a chance to do the touring books yet. a co-worker still has connections at his old printing job, so free for me to have done. besides making it easier to make copies, its nice that it stays open to the page without wanting to close...steve

that is why I bought the service manual on a cd , loaded it on my laptop and it allways gos with me on vacation , have to check on the fourm , my nut light works when it wants or stay on when it in gear but if yours is out completely I doubt that it is your sensor , check to make sure all your lights are working then use your trip meter on your fuel then fix it when ya get home , wish I was with ya
