I think there was a Harley part to deflect the wind that came over the front of the tank. It was a plastic molded part that kept the air from coming in between the forks.
I was gonna put it on my trike but the steering damper wouldn't work with it.
You might want to look and the wind deflectors that Dennis makes for trikes. Don't know if it will work on your bikes, our trikes have an increased rake from the regular touring platform. http://www.tglidestuff.com/
The lower tree baffle when used in conjunction with the fork wings is just what you're looking for. There are two size baffles (1 1/2" & 3") I believe. I use the bigger one in the fall and early spring then switch to the smaller one when the weather warms up.
