My biggest issue is the Harley Dealer here is a jackwagon and they overcharge so if do decide to go with the serpt i have to deal with them. Can I do that one myself?
Get the power vision from Fuel Moto, about the same as the SE race tuner and you can get a map from them and/or tune it yourself by recording your rides.
But as stated above, a lower idle is not good for the engine, nor will it give you that lope you are looking for.
Closest thing you are going to get that will do that is an SE 204 cam.
But I always scratch my head about people so concerned about what it sounds like at idle. I dont ride it at idle speeds, so it doesnt spend much time there.
Sometimes I think people buy a Harley just to park it at bike nights and have people be impressed by the way it idles.
Actually, I was just curious about the idle because I don't want to destroy my bike with a low idle. I was just asking in case I did want to change my cam and the tuner rejects it and tries to pull the idle up
