Engine guys help please
4 new Qts and the oil light on after 20 miles
Added 1 Qt and the light still on
5 Qts total and it doesn't register on the dipstick
Not in Cylinders or it wouldn't run
Not in crank case, he pulled the plug
not in primary chain case, he pulled the plug
Not in rocker boxes, he pulled a pushrod tube
Wher else can 5 Qts of oil hide?

that would have been driving me nuts. this is like a hollywood mystery. better than a weekend block buster. i'm not a wrencer so my next step would be taking it to the "stealer". surprised this knowledge base has not been able to figure it out.
I read a reply that said "keep adding oil until it shows up" and at first that made me laugh. But seriously, just keep adding oil until it shows on the dipstick. I bet you dont have enough in there now and id wager there never was
Maybe his eyesight is as bad as mine...
He can't see the new fluid on the dip stick, because it's so clean, and he just caught a glimpse of the oil light come on just as he turned the switch on and it was cranking up?

Put the Doobie down and step away, avoid weed for 2 weeks, if you still think your doing things that are not getting done, consult physiologist immediately, do not operate any motorized missiles.
