I had the regulator recall & front tire issue. I believe the regulator recall also affected some 2011 models. But i still love my '12. wouldnt change it for anything. You will always have little things here and there and they corrected them...so, carry on.
... i will definitely be buying an extended warranty before the factory warranty runs out....
I gotta ask, how can you have any factory warranty left with 32k on the meter? I thought they were only good for 1 year and/or 12k miles.
Anyway, just to make sure the 12s aren't the only ones with claims, my 13 has an issue - the cruise stopped working and the check engine light keeps coming on & off. It goes in next week. I completely understand that things happen, it's no big deal, etc., but it's really annoying to have to bring it in.
The only thing I think that was changed in 2012 was the year on the registration. The only issue was the brake recall we all had. I have two 2012 bikes and not a single issue with either.
