I have full blown Harley itch with a case of Harley hives. I lurk this forum almost every waking hour. I had already decided which dealer I was going to buy from because of the way I was treated on prior trips. Today I went to another dealer just to see colors my chosen dealer didn't have and to try to make a decision between RK, RKC, and SG. On my way out the door after being ignored for the third or fourth trip a sales guy connected with me and I test rode a SG, even got on the freeway! Best test ever, good mixed ride. When I decide to buy I guess I'll have to pick a dealer too!
If you think your itch is bad now, wait till you scratch it. Next thing you know you'll be posting about your chrome addiction and that your a full blown horsepower junkie. Go ahead.........it'll be the best itch you've ever scratched!!!

Honestly coming from a metric bike I actually asked the salesman if "all that chrome" was stock. There was a lot of chrome! I can't see adding more. Except pipes, whoever said stock pipes are great, may have inhaled too many exhaust fumes.
When I owned my Road King I got all the aural pleasure I wanted from the sound eminating out of the twin pipes.
I'd tend to agree with you, except I will plan on upgrading the radio so it could be heard at freeway speeds. I'm still deciding, I like my pipe tunes too, but the thought of riding more than two hours with no music isn't appealing. I notice you say "had a RK" music played no part in the bike change?

You may not be able to see it now, but TRUST ME when I say YOU WILL!!!
I'm not your average HD owner for sure! I went to two dealers in the Dallas area was basically ignored my almost everyone in the store. Was looking for a good used bike at a fair price. I guess because I was not throwing money in the air when I walked in the door or made an over the air announcement that I was in the house to buy a NEW bike, I got basically no respect. BTW, not bragging but I can and could have paid cash for any bike HD sells but I choose not too and I did pay cash for the one I bought. My monthly payments go to my kids in college. With that being said, I bought online am happy with the purchase and don't plan to donate anymore money than I have to the network of HD stealers. I've always wanted a RK before I die and I have one.
