Awww, JM....I still get misty-eyed everytime I see your old Springer....damn, that was a fine looking bike!
Same here Whiskers. It's a little like pressing on a bruise...it hurts, but somehow feels good to be reminded of why that pain is there! At least I've been able to keep the Road King.
I put so much time and passion (not to mention $$$$$) into that Springer...at least her current owner is getting a lot of life and love out of her.

I hear from him every now and then...and try my best to live out the experince vicariously through his videos and photos...
Navy,
Look at the H-D #53702-04A turn signal and license plate relocation kit. Gets the billboard down under the tail light and brings the turn signals in board and smaller for a cleaner look.
I have received lots of questions about my seat. It is a stock "Air ride" police seat. I have used them for years (3rd bike) and they can be had for around 100.00 on ebay. (I got my last one brand new for 65.00 shipped to my door!!!) The rail is from the J&P cycles vintage catalog. It is around 80.00. The bracket that mounts it to the seat can be purchased there also for an additional 70.00. It needs to be slightly modified because it doesn't quite work in the stock configuration but 2 drilled holes on the bracket fix that.
I will take some better close up photos when I get a chance. It really is a cheap mod and the air ride seats are second to none for ride quality.
The best part, by removing two half inch nuts and lock washers, I can install my matching mustang passenger seat for passengers. The mustang passenger seat works great with the Harley backrest and luggage rack with no fitment issues.
