Years ago I had a Toyota Celica Hatchback. Getting in the car one hot summer afternoon all the windows were rolled up and it must have been 150 in that car. Pulled away from the curb, hit a little bump in the road and BANG, I look in the rearview mirror and thought WTF, somebody just shot my rear window out! Well I didn't realize there were several cans of soda sitting in the back and when I hit the little bump it was just enough to set one of those cans off. Like a grenade, only sugar and carbonated water. What a mess I had cleaning all that off the inside of the hatchback.
Danzio,After reading your reply it reminded me back some years ago i had a air horn the kind you would take to a sports event or concert.Well after an event i had put that air horn on the dash of my van.Durring the day,the van had got so hot that the can exploded and cracked my windshield. At first i thought someone had thrown a rock or hit it with something then i found the can in the back of the van tore open.Sometimes lifes lessons cost a few bucks.....I was just glad i wasnt driving when it happened!! :-)
Wife and I were out at a party last year, we left late and had a bottle of white wine still in the back of the truck. Next day after I remembered the bottle of wine, it was close to 1 pm. I went to the truck to get it and found it already exploded. Talk about a smelly mess ... I think my truck still smells like sweet cooked rice!!
The can of spray cleaner that I keep in the saddle bag is always a used can with less than half remaining. Liquid cannot be compressed like a gas or air. So when it heats up it will compress the gas and not pop.
