I install highway pegs for trips and then remove them afterward. I apply duct tape to the inside of the peg mounts, so they don't scratch my crash bar.

The "looks" of my engine guard/highway pegs and the "looks" of my UNMOWED grass at home bother me less and less the further I get from the house on the bike...Doin 4500 miles in 12 days Aug 2-13 and wouldn't want to do it without highway pegs...

I have the HD 360 degree mount on mine that allow my heel to be on the floorboard:

One option you can do is get whatever highway peg you want and get a heel rest. Make sure to put your peg high enough so that it wont interfere with your lean angle. Then, you can install the heel rest, and rest your toe on it. You can see the heel rest you offer HERE.

Here is a picture of Kevin on his trip to Alaska, and he has the exact same setup on his Trike.

I don't give a rats *** what it looks like. I didn't buy the Harley because of the looks. If I bought for looks, I'd buy a Gold Wing. I bought the Harley for comfort, I don't care what it looks like.

Function and comfort over form every time. IDGAF what anyone else thinks my bike looks like. You will love how nice they will be on longer rides, being able to change your seating position even a little adds miles and miles of comfortable riding.

Still looking for them.

They say Harley Davidson on the rubber foot part. I would think if there not HD brand there would be a problem with there name on it.
Im guessing there HD but you have to remove the crash bar . Thats were they mount. Maybe the discontinued them.

kuryakan has these pegs and yes you do have to take off the crash bars , i'll be putting these on my new rkc very soon .nice stuff ! oh and sorry about the spelling I think its kuyarkyn .com

I think the idea location would be where you can rest your heal on the floorboards and toes on the pegs and switch to your complete foot on the pegs. If the pegs were to fold up tight to the crash bar this may be ok but rarely do I see any that fold up that close to the bar.

Any one else that wants highway pegs but not the look? Ideas? Photos?
I guess the question is, did you buy the bike to show or ride? If you bought the bike to show, then don't worry about it. If you bought it to ride, put the pegs on that are comfy to you and don't worry about it. Nobody is going to look at your bike and say, man that bike would so much better without those ugly HW pegs.
