I'm at a loss. HD customer service has been absolutely no help. Here's the problem: I bought a HD Speed/Tach combo (model 70900070A) a while back and I've lost the data link cable that comes with the unit. HD Customer Service told me these cables are not available because they don't have a part number, and they are unwilling to reach out to the supplier and request one for me. I can't pull my mileage off my ECM unless I link the speedo to the ECM. I've installed the unit and the speedo and tach both work great, but my milage does not move. Anyone know of an aftermarket Co. that makes a 12 pin speedo connector to the 6 pin HD data link connector? In the alternative, does anyone have a cable for sale or rent? Any help is appreciated.
