can a person disable the neutral start switch on a 2010 SG so it will start in gear with of course the clutch in? It's happened a couple of times where the engine killed starting out from stop light and I hate trying to find neutral in the middle of a intersection with people shaking their fists at me. I know that you aren't suppose to kill it but it happens.
After reading the replies that my bike should start in all gears with clutch in I went out and tried it again to make sure it won't and it won't. So is there a switch that is broke and where can I find this switch. Is it easy to replace? Thanks.
First verify the correct clutch lever isinstalled. The correct style has a small ridge that contacts a microswitch inthe clutch perch. The older one without the ridge will fit. The wrong one mayhave been installed at one time.
