Windshields are kind of subjective, just like seats as they are a comfort item.

I'm 6'0" and have a dark smoke 12" Klockwerks on my RGC and it works well. I can hear the radio better and it throws most of the wind over my head as compared to the stock toe nail windshield.

Depending on how much wind and/or sound from your radio you desire will probably dictate which windshield is best for you. Some Klockwerks dealers have demo windshield you can try. Also, if you buy directly from Klockwerks and you don't like the windshield you can exchange it for another size.

Lots of other good companies out there. I've had good success with Klockwerks so I stuck with them. Check out roadglide.org's windshield section for more opinions and some fact that you can shake a stick at.

Good luck.

What works for one may not do it for the next rider. Getting the right windshield for you on a RG is sometimes hard.

Im 6'3" with 34" inseam but use a seat that lowers me about 2" and I sitt veryupright when riding, all of this makes a difference. Im using a Cee bailey TRSSC 16" and love it, no buffeting 0-over 100 mph and I look over it by 3".

Before you go out and buy a bunch of shields IMO, first decide what style you like, more traditional with a lip like -windvest, LRS Mako, Freedom or Clear View or the Step type like a - Klock Werks, Cee Bailey, Wind Splitter ect. Then look into etting it.

If you like the HD Wind Splitter look like the CVO have most Dealership now have a demo set and you can try them out. Also with some of the step design shields if you order a little taller you can have it cut down 1-2 " if needed.

Look over on RG.org they have a windshield thread with all types and pictures and measurements.

Also be sure that the wind that bothers you is from the top front and a shield is going to fix it , the RG without lowers have a lot of wind that causes buffeting from below the fairing and things like Sanchos Wings, GADS or hard lowers take it all away and you can use a lower shield
