Default vibration

Ok herre we go I have a 91 flhtc and I have this weird vibration/harmonic in the bike between 60-70mph and around 3000rpm it feels like u turned on a back massager on super high and I feel it throughout the entire bike ,the only things I've done lattelly was had Harley put tires on and repack wheel bearings and I changed all oils (engine, trans, primary) any ideas would be helpful could it be a motormount, bearing or internal thank u

Start with the wheels and tires. Verify they are balanced correctly. Verify the wheels spin freely - no noises, grinding, catching, etc.

Wink

Try to identify the vibration a bit more clearly. For example does it do it at 3,000rpm in 4th gear, the same as it does in top gear? Or does it do it in 4th gear at the same road speed as in top?

If it does it at the same engine speed then the problem is in the vehicle, such as engine rubber mounts. The front mount is normally the first to give way and you can read how to replace it here, with some other comments you may find useful.

If it does it at the same road speed then it is most likely wheels. Check wheel bearings, as suggested, if all else seems OK have your wheels balanced.

For future reference you will find a lot of help with your bike in the Evo section of HDF.

yes- determine whether it is rpm related or road speed related.

does it change left or right turns, straight etc.

the more data you gather...the better the conclusion.

It happens more under a load (high gear) then it does in 4th but is still noticeable is there any detonate way to check the motormount
