How you gonna know if it really "learns", you gonna change somehing ?
This has been a HUGE learning experience for me too. Fortunately, I have been playing with PCIII's & DYno tunes for the last several years so I had a decentfundemental understanding ~ however so many elements "beyond fundemental" have come to center stage that I have been forced to learn more.
The unit logs and stores data that can be downloaded to a PC and analyzed after riding. It is rather easy to determine how much it is "learning" by simply reviewing the AFR logs for either/both cylinders. These can be compared to previous runs as well.
First & foremost... you can "feel it"!
If you are not intimidated by your computer, have an aptitude to learn and understand, and can read.... it's not that bigga deal.
