The bike fired right up this morning. I watched all the data via Live View while it warmed up. It to me an hour or so to get a handle on the relationship between the IAC setting vs the the TPS. It took a bit, but I understand it now. I was able to get the IAC to settle in at 30 steps when CHT was @ 110 degrees C and have the TPS holding steady @ 0.4V.
With that outa the way, it was time for a ride. I went out for a 50 mile solo ride during whick I did as much as I could to cover vaious RPM & throttle position combos. When I came home, I checked out all the log data and applied the BLM (Block Learn Mode) settings to the base map. Per the AFR data in the logs, both cylinders are running pretty rich.... that's ok for now & the bike is actually running pretty darn good!
Went back out for another 120'ish mile ride with Wifey & Bernie which offerred some more "learning" time for the DTT. Just got home & have not yet analyzed the data or applied the most recent BLM data.
This was also my first opportunity to get a few miles with the new Baker DD6 & primary gearing change (from 3.15, to 3.32). WOW, that tranny ROCKS! Smooth as silk and 70mph is about 2600~2650 RPM. Even 2up, in 6th gear, there's more than enough to pull out and blast past a semi on the hwy! I was wondering about that, but I now know it's a non-issue!
I sure would like to get some more miles to do some more DTT learning, but it looks like a rainy Sunday... so I'll just have to watch the race instead!
Dude I was wondering how long it would take you to figure out the relationship between the IAC and TPS settings. I missed the pool by an hour though. Guess you can't hurry genius.[&:] It's not going to rain all day is it?
