Took the plunge....
and the bath. Dealer gave me a fair deal for my 2006 Road Glide on the 2014 Street Glide Special in Sand Cammo. Not a great deal, but reasonable enough so I can pay it off next year. Bike sold at MSRP, no markup even though it was the only special they had.
First impression: More power, better handling, uncomfortable seat, unforgiving suspension, that vent does work, gorgeous paint, bag latches are great, audio/nav system is cumbersome to figure out but it does work and sounds pretty dam good, and more power. The wife has already mentioned the heat. I like the quiet exhaust and will leave it that way for the time being. Love the paint job. Killer brakes, and yes I tried 'em out on the test ride.
All in all a waaaay different ride than the RG. I like it. And it's still an old air cooled Harley.
And yes, the batteries in the camera are dead so no pics till tomorrow. As soon as I get off of it

And FWIW, they pulled out a 2014 Limited while I was there.....it was sold before I left.

A few pics. Love the paint. And with a few exceptions for the OL's comfort, it'll stay bone stock till the title is in hand. And that should take about a year.
