Default Changing air cleaner

Hey all. I have a 13 RK with dealer installed V&H Fuel Pak, Monster Rou ds, and Stage 1 kit. Picked up a Screaming Eagle round A/C from a buddy for $140 that was on his SG for about 5 months or so.

How hard is it to swap the air cleaners? Do I need any gaskets or can i use the old ones? I am somewhat handy (change all my own fluids, swap lights, etc...) but never chsnged one before. I like the look of the round cleaners and was only changing it for looks. My understanding is I do not have to change the current map in the FP or anything else. Is it an easy enough job to do or is it more of a hassle than anything?

Why not for a buck or two? Very easy to change.

If you're changing out the whole air cleaner (backplate and all), I'd pop for new o-rings and a gasket....cheap insurance to have it be essentially "new" on your bike. They may look just fine, but sometimes (especially with o-rings) there can be small tears or imperfections that you can't see and they'll just cause problems before you know it. I'm sure your buddy took care taking it off his bike, but you never know.
