So GoofSB did you finish and test ride yet? I did the swingarm rebuild on my 06 a few months ago with the front motor mount replacement also. The bike tracks great but I had a whole lotta shakin going on. Frustrating. It felt like the motor mount was bad in the front again. I ordered and installed the Glide-Pro motor mount and the vibration is gone from my handlebars. What a huge difference. Just my take on this. I have no affiliation with Glide-Pro. Just a happy rider now. The 90718-79C mount was the cause of my vibration. Problem solved .

Sorry wrong number on the motor mount 16207-79D is the Harley mount I replaced with the Glide-Pro mount. 90718-79C is the number for the Support saddle bracket that I replaced when bushings and Aurora Bearings installed in swingarm

You might want to set rear tire at 38-40. That is Harley recommendation for tubeless not sure if the same on tubed tires.Check your front motormount also.Bolt through it should be torqued 15-20 FT LBS.

Welcome to HDF from the UK. It sounds as if your tyre pressures are way off. Read this thread through and attend to the things mentioned that can affect your bike's ride quality, before you start fitting new parts.

Woodman, It's done. So far I've only put about 35 miles on it and since the rear tire is new, I didn't push it too hard. However, it does seem better. Seemed like the rear was tracking the front better and like they were more glued together, but that's a first impression at 60 or 65 mph. I didn't notice any change in vibration anywhere. Once the tire is more broken in and I hit some curves at speeds with previous issues, I'll report back.
