Not trying to be insensitive to your dilemma but You do have an FLHTKSE and most of the other leak occurrences have involved 2014 FLHTK's. Do you think that the 110 has some bearing on it? Higher running temps, etc. Just wondering?
Lobo
p.s. it is a nice looking bike minus the leak
Really, I have no idea. It could just be a % thing. There are way more FLHTK's on the road than CVO's? The bike sure feels like it runs cooler than my FLHTK does judging from heat on right leg. I don't recall seeing anyone else with the 110 motor having the issues, but who knows?
No update. Dealer said they would call MoCo today, and call me afterwards. As of now the dealer never called, so I have no idea what took place today. Hopefully hear something tomorrow.
I am thinking of getting one of these bikes. I am wanting to see how this gets resolved.
Are you serious? Anyone that buys one of these twin cooled bikes before they fix the coolant issues has to be a really special kind of stupid. I'm just saying.
Why are there some 14 owners that say no problems best bike ever, and others like this. is it just a matter of time for those not having this issue to start, they have to be the same parts on all of these

Good question. Just about the time I thought I was over the hump with the coolant thing, it happened. I can say I was always fearful of it from day one after reading about happening over and over again. Even if they call and say your bike is fixed, I won't believe them. I'll constantly be looking under the bike for leaks. It will probably take a while to get over this unfortunately. I really wish someone would figure it all out and explain.
I disagree about the "half-measure". As a 2014 Limited owner, I think they did a great job with the new cooling system.
Maybe 'a great job' is overstating it just a little with all the issues regarding puking coolant; at least that would be my view if I owned a $27k puking twin-cooled bike. I think the most frustrating part of this is how long it's taking Harley, or anyone else, to identify the exact problem and what it takes to remedy it.
While I'm not in the market for a new bike, I have to say that when I first heard that Harley was going to water-cooling, my thought was I have no problem with water-cooling and I'd buy one if I was in the market.
Got to say after all these threads that I'm glad I wasn't in the market; with the luck I've had with my 2010, one of these 'puking coolant' threads would have my name on it.

I think thats obvious. It IS by far the best bike Harley has ever produced with all the new improvements. And even the OP here has said he likes the bike, but of course he doesnt like the problems. Nobody does. Once its fixed the smile will be back on his face.

Can I ask ya how you came up with that logic?? Is that just Harley logic or does that go for anything? Like say that you watch the news and a new 2013 Dodge Ram truck catches on fire from a fuel leak so its just a matter of time before ALL 2013 Dodge Ram trucks catch on fire?

Haha, I think it takes a special kind of stupid to come on this thread and hijack it, kick the OP while he's down, and slap all 2014 owners in the face. Thanks for proving it. Just sayin.....
