Not trying to be insensitive to your dilemma but You do have an FLHTKSE and most of the other leak occurrences have involved 2014 FLHTK's. Do you think that the 110 has some bearing on it? Higher running temps, etc. Just wondering?
Lobo
p.s. it is a nice looking bike minus the leak
Unfortunately it's happening to both 110" & 103" motors.
It's truly a shame.
There was a lot of excitement regarding the new 2014" model "Twin cooled" bikes with it's new design, fancy radio, vent and the everything else that came with these bikes.
Sadly, every owner is totally happy about their new bike when they first get it and then happiness turns into anger and sadness.
I do feel for all the new owners of the 2014 model year with the "twin cooled" motors and all the problems that each of you are having.
If there were ever a time to wait a couple of years before buying a "new" item of anything, the 2014 Harley Davidson "twin cooled" model would be it.
It's a shame that Harley Davidson says that they did major testing on this brand new design in their secret locations in AZ, Florida or where ever and yet as soon as they leave the dealership they **** all over everything and everywhere they want!
Even worst, the MoCo will continue to use us (the general public) as beta testers on their products and then say: "It's normal"!
Good Luck to all that have had/having these nightmares and I hope that it does work out for the best to all you.
Are you serious? Anyone that buys one of these twin cooled bikes before they fix the coolant issues has to be a really special kind of stupid. I'm just saying.
2500 miles no leaks , is the bike perfect ? no it is not but it is very close would I be pissed if I had the same problems ? yes I would but I did get the extended warranty because I know there is a lot of new going on with these bikes and I don't want to be left hanging after 2 years

Yea, I never buy warranties, but in this case, thanfully, I did.
Haha, I think it takes a special kind of stupid to come on this thread and hijack it, kick the OP while he's down, and slap all 2014 owners in the face. Thanks for proving it. Just sayin.....
OP - Curious, do you shut off the engine using kill switch or ignition switch?
To tell the truth, not sure. I only know one way to turn it off, and that's with the kill switch on the right handlebar. On the CVO the fork lock dealy only locks the forks AFAIK, and doesn't turn off the bike.
