LRS 12" Windshield with recurve
I have a 2009 Road King with a Dragonfly fairing and just installed this windshield after finding it on sale online. I chose the Ultra elite and got it for around $100. I have tried many windshields and always had wind turbulence and buffeting. I am happy to say this windshield solved my problems with that. I was always leery about looking through a windshield but with this setup its no different then being in your truck or car, the distortion with this shield is nonexistent and the glare is minimal. With the regular 12" I had, there was horrible glare coming from the ODO and the chrome off the gas cap and gauge, now that is hardly noticeable as its out of my line of sight. If I get hit with a few bugs I take a gas stop, wipe them off with a quick detailer and keep rollin'. I will keep my 6" and 9" shields for short trips or around town but for the long hauls this is the ticket.
