I'm having the same issue with my Galaxy 4s not pairing, its an AT&T
I don't see any settings in the Phone that would make any difference
its searching but will not find the device.
Could it be the carrier?
anyone else having this issue?
OK guys with not pairing issues (last couple posts). You need to DELETE your device pairing profiles from the infotainment system & start the pairing process from the beginning. See the ADD NEW DEVICE instructions in the Owner's Quick Start Guide for more info.
have an android Galaxy S4 with verizon.....text messaging works for me and it also generates an auto response text to the sender. I do not use my phone for music....only to see calls..I use a very small USB drive which holds over a 1000 songs...and it is louder then if I use the phone to play music.....
IMHO...when I use my usb to play music in ANY device....it is always louder..
Did you have to do anything special with the phone or Boom Box? I have Verizon and a Galaxy S4. I continually get error syncing SMS messages. Phone and Media work well just no text message? Any ideas?
Reviving this thread as I encounter similar problem with my iPhone6/Verizon, fully paired with Music and Phone. hence, i am able to listen to music, and 'Accept' phone calls!! but when accepting thru 'headset' is totally muted.. I tried to following troubleshooting:
1. paired another phone (LG/Cricket) - same result. can't listen nor talk....
2. deleted and recreated device (via BT) and no Luck. same result.
I ran out of options and started googling for any similar problems.. One thing I know, from the previous owner (Flhtk '14), it used to work. I just didn't bother using it until i acquired new 3/4 helmet and interested to use the phone option.
