x-pipe? what's that got to do with the price of tea in china? :-)
he has duals also and if you tell him when ordering he'll put both 12 and 18 mm bungs in it for you.
Understood but he has the classic true dual style from what I've seen. I want the dresser style. I've pretty much got it narrowed down tho. Thanks Mr Nut

Yes these were on my list at first but they don't come with dual size bung holes. Yes I know I can put in whichever size I needed myself but would rather buy them already made that way. Waiting on a reply from another member whose running the Freedom Performance duals to make the final decision. Thanks
FWIW, I've always been a TH fan and ran them on every bike I've ever owned. Doc in FLA told me a few weeks ago about the FP slipons at which time I had never heard of them. I couldn't be happier! Great sounding slipons and look good too.

I'm a huge thunderheader fan myself. Just can't get past the look. Used to not bother me cause I wasn't worried bout looks. Love the way they sound tho. Absolutely nothing else compares.
I know you don't want an "X" pipe or crossover, but have you looked at S&S Powertune Duals? They look identical to the dresser duals but they do have a hidden "H" type crossover under the heat shields.
I wanted the dresser duals as well but didn't want to lose much bottom end. These seemed to fit the bill. Because of the "H" type crossover, the exhaust flow still is evenly distributed out each of the pipes. That also gives you the stereo sound desired from a true dual system.
When I received my Powervision with a preloaded tune for my setup, the preloaded map was for the dresser duals. It was pretty much right on too.

Good luck
Yessir I've looked at these as well. These and the Cobra Power Port are the same headers and almost bought the Cobra but backed out because its really not what I want. And after looking and digging you begin to find that a lot of the "name" brand headers are made at the same manufacturing plants too. I'm a tightwad too and can't make myself pay $500 for sumpin that I can get for $350 that's just as good in quality, fit, and finish.
