Need help removing wires

Default Need help removing wires
Got a set of 16" apes for a 94 FLSTC . Can't get wires out of plugs. They are what I call barrel connectors. I thought I had correct tools to remove the socket side of the connector . Seems like the tool won't go all the way down to unlock the socket. Any ideas ?

See if this helps....not sure what connectors are on your bike.
