Stage2 - for dummies
This is some good advice right here. Lots of armchair experts here, and I don't mean that negatively because many know their stuff, and I am one, but these guys are experts when it comes to this stuff and in many an experience in dealing with them, they will not lead you wrong.
You will hear lots about 2-1 pipes for the best power, gutted head pipe vs true duals and 2-1-2. For the average guy, all will feel pretty much the same seat of pants. I went the gutted pipe route then went with FMs Jackpot 2-1-2 and am very happy I did. Performance wise it feels pretty much the same as the stock gutted, but it is cooler and the 2-1-2 sounds a lot better. Even with the stock crossover I am getting close to the same amount of exhaust from the left pipe as the right.
