Brake pad wear
I actually had to replace my rear pads, rotor and caliper at 9413 miles. I was headed home coming down a mountain and lost braking power in the rear. When I took it all apart I found that my piston had gone through my pad like a cookie cutter. There was never a squeak or anything to alert me. Thinking my pistons were not retracting at all when I released the brake so they just wore completely as you will see in the pic.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Had both front sets relaxed and callipers bled and cleaned.
I 'l keep a close eye over the next 1000 or so miles to see if the uneven wear continues.
