Everyone is with the 6x9s because they provide more bass. Do I really need more bass at cruising speed? Wouldn't clarity and highs be more important?
I don't want to "thump" while rolling down the road, I just want to hear the music as clearly as possible.
For simplicity, wouldn't a pair of 6.5" speakers be better? Maybe a little cleaner looking than the 6x9s?
