Nav. Sys. issue

The nav sys will not completely turn off. We went out yesterday and put in a destination, got there and started home. Didn't need the nav sys so thought I turned it off but it giving directions. We pulled over to give it better attention, cancelled all destinations but the damn thing would not shut up. Looking at the manual but, man I am feelin very dumb right now

There is a icon that you have to click on then select cancel route guidence. Do a search if you need more detailed instructions, at least 2 threads about it. Took me a while the first time, Mike

I hear ya its pretty hard understand I'm still using a flip phone so I have to have my son help me until get it figured out, Ha ha

Select "stop"

As I recall, as looking at the map, select that submenu, the square with three lines, to the right of "-" and "+".

First option is "stop"

May be wrong about order, going off memory
