Careful on right turns, all the road grit will build up at the edges and the right portion of the right lane will have slippy grit build up.
( we also have this in PHX during our summer monsoon season- sand)
Not a bad idea to practice in a parking lot, panic stops, counter steering swerves etc.
remember where all the controls are...

Almost 60° today at work, thought I would go home and look at pics of my bike as it's still in storage . Tomorrow, 7" to 12" of snow predicted with lows in the single digits.
Nice thought and appreciate the reminder but.......there is one or two feet of snow coming this way starting late tonight. However I will take everything you outlined in to account if and when this winter ever ends.
