While the bike is at idle there are no issues. While I am riding the gauges go haywire and dim, the radio resets, my brake and running lights flicker, and my abs light comes on, and my stereo hand controls never seem to work unless the bike ignition is all the way to the right and it's not running just aux power.
I have a new voltage regulator and a brand new battery in it.
The only thing I can think of is this started after my Indy swapped my handlebars for monkey bars. Started with the hand controls not working properly and then progressed to this. My battery doesn't seem to hold a charge even after being on a battery tender.

Check your battery connections...have you had the battery load tested?
Yup, they battery is notorious for not being tied down from the MoCo. Don't be fooled into thinking theres any kind of inspection being done at the dealership, they don't do jack but pull it up to the front of the store.
..I know you just replaced the regulator..but it STILL sounds like a haywire regulator...you say the battery doesn't hold a charge..but what happens when you try to start the bike? does the battery need to be jumped? or does it start on it's own?
It starts but is really rough. I just replaced the stock battery yesterday with the delta big crank. It was fine until the end of the ride. But even at the start of the ride the hand controls weren't working. It was on a battery tender all night and this morning it wouldn't even work the stereo when I turned the ignition on. The battery was fully charged and ready to go when I bought it.
I had a heck of a time after I put on my bars, was blowing fuse for starter when I hit switch, since it wasn't a constant short and only happened when you hit starter was a pain to trace. It went away a couple of times when I loosened the right switch assembly then came back. Ended up being a small rub in wire harness inside assembly by the throttle grip, not sure what wire problem in bars would cause that much issue, doesn't sound like you are blowing fuses. But odd would start with the new bars if not connected in some way.
Iceman you think it's a short in the bars? They swore up and down that they used a sheath and that they don't think it's the problem.
What about alternator?
You definitely have a short somewhere. If everything was good before the bar swap and new battery connections are really tight then you have a problem with the bar install from the indy. Possibly at the switch housings. Take it back to him and stand there until he finds the problem and fixes it.
Better yet, take the wife and turn her loose on him. He will find the problem and fix it as quickly as possible to get her off his *** and out of his shop.
