I received a letter from MOCO yesterday regarding the voltage regulator on my '06 FLTRI.
This is a product improvement service(not a recall) regarding some 2006 touring models built between 11/08/05 through 3/28/06.
Seems that some of these bikes were built with a voltage regulator that contains an internal component that may cause reduced regulator life.
Well i guess I'll call the dealer next week to bring the bike in.
Anyone else get their notice yet?
I got my notice on this yesterday. I still wonder if this is why I had to have the stator replace last year too. Anyone have any ideas if the voltage regulator could have damaged my stator?
