Infotainment system won't shut down

the infotainment system will not shut down? it stays on even after i power it off. restarted and the radio stations say searching, nav says not ready.....nothing is working but it wont shut down.

Take off the left side cover and pull the red 50 fuse, wait a few minutes and put it back in. Should work after that, but you should check the software to see if it's up to date.

Can't explain the radio issue, but it does require a few seconds for the NAV to boot while searching for satellite reception

Just my experience

thanks, i pull the fuse. the system is on but not responding to any commands? .... tough day....finally nice weather and i get a screw in the front tire. dealer wants to replace tire........bike has 250 mile on it. when to a tire repir and they said come back tomorrow they have to talk to their boss. dunlop allows for repair so not sure what the problem is

pulled red fuse and it shut down. thanks Bulldog13.......will start up tomorrow and let you know if it happens again.

Had it happen one time just the other day. Radio stayed on after shutdown and turning off ignition. Turned volume all the way down and came back to it about 10 minutes later. System had turned off and everything was fine. Hasn't happened since.
