Default 23" front wheel question

Well over the weekend my dad managed to drop one of my dirt bikes on my harley and damaged the fender, and I have one of my dirt bikes on craigslist and was offered a 23" front wheel with tire rotors and fender, would this fit my 95 electra glide with no issues? If I did the swap if plan on triple trees in the future but can I run that with stock trees?

Also I found a tree kit on ebay for 23 inch wheels, and it said like 95-13 models, why won't it fit mine?

I am not sure about the clearance but I do believe that the bearings are a different size which opens up a big old can o' worms. Something to keep in mind, even if it would bolt right on, without the rake change it would look proportionally wrong as it will lift the front end pretty good and mess with the steering geometry. That is why most change out the "trees" at the same time. Legal disclaimer: This is my 2 cents.

I will probably order the trees, that's not much of an issues, but finding trees that "fit" a 95 seem to be an issue

Or you could just knock the dent out of the fender. Sell the dirtbike , take the money, go on a long ride and spend it on gas, booze and women.

Sounds like a great idea, but I really can't stand their being a dent and a scratch in my bike...

If your bike is a 95 you have 3/4 inch Timkin style bearings and axel, is the wheel going to fit your bike? After 99 everything changed to 1 inch and roller bearings, make sure that wheel has the right hubs to fit your bike, I have been looking for a front wheel for my 99, not many wheels out there for our older bikes.
