Why would you want steel toes? I wear composite and they get cold. If I was buying dedicated riding boots sure would not have safety toes

Granted 99% of my riding is with composite toe.

I like support of lace up boots. Gave up slip ons 20 years ago.

But slip on people talk about Chippewa for engineer. Areotech probably good on opposite end of spectrum

  1. Steel toes provide crush protection.
  2. Maybe someone rides to work where they need to wear a steel-toe work boot

as I wrote 99% of my riding is with composite toes, cause I wear work boots. Not steal toes. But if I was buying dedicated riding boots they would not have safety toes

It has been debated there is any value to safety toes on bikes. What settles it for me, is dedicated and marketed motorcycle boots are soft toe.

But I am sure you can google this argument

What one got closed down?

Anything to add,or did you just blow the roadie to get back stage for nothing?

Got my muck boots on. Feet are dry. Them come in composite toe too. But the other choices I listed first, would be my first choice.

If all you want is a slip on, I think over thinking this. Western wear or engineer boot by anyone. Not like there is much to them.

Unless you are looking into get a real motorcycle boot.

Docs are now made in China and are rubbish
They do a premium “Made in England” pair but they are nowhere near as good as Solovair.
Trust me on this one, if you buy a pair you’ll thank me for it.
