I regretfully had to sell my Wide Solo Day Tripper from Mustang, not the seats fault but mine. I was trying to ride it all day and that's just not a option anymore for my broke down body, let alone my butt !
Just looking at other options, I have a Mustang Sport Touring on the bike now and a all day ride is no problem but the look isn't as clean as I want.
I was noticing that Saddleman has a couple of seats that look cleaner and with the gel built in should be a comfortable seat I would think. So to the question at hand, does anyone have a Saddleman explorer or the profiler seat that is happy with the look and comfort ?
I love my saddlemen explorer classic with removal adjustable rider backrest. I did 10 hours on it in one day and it did fine; however, the most comfortable seat I've ever owned was the hammock with rider backrest.
I had a Saddleman Road Sofa on my '06 Ultra. It had the gel insert and good lumbar support. I had the adjustable back rest with it. It was covered in what they call saddlehyde which is a textured synthetic material with a nice pattern that I found better than the standard stock vinyl, but not as comfortable as leather, of course. Saddleman made the seat custom to my dimensions (I needed forward and lower), and even with these mods the seat fit me better than the Harley Reach seat - the Road Sofa had much better lumbar and thigh support. Don't have the bike or the seat any more, but still have the back rest that I'd sell to anyone interested.

I love my mustang seat it's just not as sleek as I want, that's why I bought the Daytripper but it was what it said. Actually a 2 hour tripper. Loved the looks but just wasn't for me on comfort. I just want a sleeker looking seat that is more comfortable but can't find a picture other than there website that shows a saddlemen.
I like the looks of the Explorer and the Road Sofa too. Looks like either one will sit you down deep in the bike but like you I can't find many reviews on either.
