Default What should I do?

I took my 08 electraglide to my local indy and bought all of the parts for a three hole oil change and I now discover the old oil filter is still on. I know it is because it is a K&N and I gave him a Harley filter. Could a K&N be in the Harley box? Confused.

I would go back and calmly ask him what the heck is going on here, tell him the only way you are comfortable that the entire job was done is to have him check all 3 holes with you to verify the oils are fresh. I would also insist a oil change with a new filter and fresh oil all while you observe. If he is not nice demand a full refund and reimbursement for the oils and go elsewhere or better yet do it yourself.

I am just amazed by the lack of attention to detail in just about every business these days, hold him accountable.

He is also human and can make a mistake but that is no excuse.

How can he prove all oils are fresh?

tell fresh oil that has been run through and old filter......OK....it may be fresh oil, just run through and old filter. I would just ask for the new filter back. (You want someone you just pissed off changing the oil)?

If he gets pissed of because he screwed up and the client does not trust him he is a bad business man. A honorable one will take care of the issue and should be happy to do the right thing and verify for you the work was done in the first place.

You paid for a service and did not get it and now have questions about the whole job is very reasonable. Maybe he is a sleaze and did nothing at all and all your oils went in some other bike ???

Make him set your mind at ease or demand a refund and new fluids.

No frickin way I would let him get away with handing me a filter and going on my merry way.
