I added the Compensaver oiling tray to my 2014 SE compensator this winter. I also did the JIMS trapdoor to stiffen up the transmission. Hopefully this will be a bulletproof driveline setup for my 124" StreetGlide.

That would suck dealing with it on the road loaded in the middle of BFE!
It's really a shame that the MoCo can't make it right.
But then again, you would think that a company that's been around for over 111 years would make the heart (engine) being the most important part of the bike last longer then what they do!

I'm wondering if anyone has lost a comp after installing a Compensaver oiling tray? If they have then its another crap shoot and more money spent hoping to be one of the ones that get lucky with it and not having to buy another Comp.
$129 is very temping, did you have to grind any of the primary cover inner fins like there pictures show?

The one I have is the cheaper one for the 2014 comps, the more expensive one is for the older comps and it includes more hardware. Mine is just an oiling tray.
