So I had time this week to drain the primary and replace the oil with Amsoil 20W-50. That is what I had in my previous Ultra and never had a problem. Took it out for a ride this morning and what a world of difference--as one of the previous posts said... "buttery smooth". The grabby clutch was definitely an oil issue. I got 100,000 on my last Ultra and always ran Amsoil 20W-50 in the primary but thought I'd try something new. So lesson learned, I won't use anything else. Thanks for everyone's comments, this forum rocks!!!

I've tried all viscosities in the primary. I have settled on a 10W-40 4T. It works and feels the best, but that's in my 114 M8. Others may be different.
