Default TURN SIGNAL MODULE

Sent: 4/1/2007 11:08 AM

I am thinking about buying a turn signal module for my 07 FLHTC. It will be the old style one that doesnt have the running light feature. Turns the turn signals into brake lights. Just add the red lenses and plug the module into your existing wiring harness. Has anyone ever installed one of these? My QUESTION to you is - where exactly is the location on the harness where you plug the module in? Thanks in advance. NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE !!!!! [/align]

I am pretty sure it is under the seat on the fender.

HDR is right--pull the seat, located to the rear...can't miss it and the module only installs one way. 5-min job.

Why wouldn't you want the runninng light feature[&:]??? I the HD module on my bike from the getgo, but last month replaced with the Kuryakyn module. Those two extra red lights really brighten up the back of the bike. Still debating wether to change the flash feature to normal. If you haven't bought it already I'll make you a deal on my HD unit.

HD's running light module make the turn signals look like the break lights are on all the time. It sucks.

Ialso want the old style brake light module...I had it on my last 2 bikes and let them go with the sale...I would have kept the last one if I knew HD was gonna change it to brake/run light.

Anyone know where I can buy the old style? Any HD dealers have any old ones in stock?

Thanks.

If you want the module that only functions as turn/brake light and not a running light, that is what I've replaced with a Kuryakyn unit. PM me if interested in buying it. With my present Kury unit there is no problem telling when the brakes are hit.
