When to do a big bore?

I'm in a similar situation (bottom end problems on a 06 FLHT 88ci). I'm getting quotes of 12,600 to install a S&S 124LC (here in central BC). Hell that's more than the bikes worth. Includes clutch work to handle the motor and moving from a 48mm to 58mm intake.
S&S are quoting 6 weeks before they have another 124LC available. Then 2 to 3 weeks to get her in. Summers gone.

This is my first HD after a lifetime of metric. I don't really care about wings or anyone else on the road. I would like a bit more for 2 up and passing. I'm scheduled to have Jamie do a 107 and B heads this Sep. I still have to choose my cam. I think I'm down to choosing between the TW-222 and the TW-777. Any thoughts or recommendations?

This is my thoughts too. 83,000 on mine and the warranty runs out this coming May. FuelMoto 107 sounds like the ticket!
