how reduce current draw ??
I thought of another question... are there any easy ways to reduce the current draw ????. it's easy to not turn on some options (heated seats, radio, extra headlamps, etc). Wondering if the LED headlamp would help. ?? maybe any other ideas.

headlamps (aside from the actual starting of the bike) draw more current than anything stock on your bike so yes LED headlamps reduce that significantly, by at least 50%

LED headlamps to reduce current draw
I found the LED lamps from Truck-Lite, below
It looks like this kit would reduce my amperage much.
(if using low beam and passing, from 8.9amps to 2.9amps
wow, i'll macke sure these fit my bike, and this will help alot)
Low beam current draw 1.5 amps (stock halogen is 4.9 amps)
High beam current draw 2.3 amps (stock halogen is 5.5 amps)
Passing lamps (pr) current draw 1.4 amps (stock halogen (pr) 4.0 amps
