>>I do drive the bike harder than most...alot of burn outs, and hard launches. <<

Not bustin' yer chops, but I'll tell you the same thing I tell my Son-in-law.. Anyone can break stuff, the trick is to use the available power without tearing up parts. Also, I have heard 100+ HP get a chain..

You can mod your swingarm and use the oem belt also which is what I did.
A lot of posts on the different Harley forums about the aftermarket belts failing, compared to the oem belt. 'Most everybody that has done the 30T and had failures, mods the swingarm to use the oem belt.

For your riding style, a chain might be the answer...

As in my original post, the belt is a gates poly chain....the recommended.
belts have been installed by dealer, and by me, if I have time. I do know how to store the belts, and know how to install them, and am well aware of the issues involved with kinking, or twisting during installations.
its the way I ride.....guess im going to have to start ridin like an old man
no more wheelies, burnouts, or taking off sideways through a couple of gears.

just find it odd that I have never had these issues with any other Harley Ive owned through the years.

revelation.......none of the other bikes have been baggers though (weight difference)....(I ain't getting any smaller either)

I will take this as a "lesson learnt" and move on (although it looks like it will be a lot more slowly than I would like).

thanks for the help guys, thanks for the reality check
I either learn something new, or get put in my place every time I'm on here...it is much appreciated.

Well here is your other option, chain drive. Frank Drago specializes in super-charged Harleys with the Pro-Charger. He's built a 107" that made 205 hp. He has developed chain drive kits because belts tend not to last when the boost comes up and the torque climbs. The torque curve on these motors is a straight line that go higher with the RPM's. So here's the address: http://www.dragosbikeworks.com/Chain-Drives.html

Agreed...if you're gonna beat it, just get the beefier chain available...and even that won't guarantee perfection...but it's better than whatcha got...

Thanks for the link, $tonecold! The bike is an absolute blast to ride, it just seems with this HP, and torque, the belt isn't going to work if I am going to ride it the way I like to ride it.....just not ready to slow down yet...hahaha

Thanks again for the input guys, much appreciated!
